Adventure is usually defined by different people all the same way. "It all depends on who you are." Well adventure is something that takes you out of your comfort zone but also kinda makes you have mental discussions with yourself. Asking yourself "What the eff am i doing and why?" "Am i going to like it?" "Are these people in the profession crazy?"
I have chosen to "adventure-size" my self. I am attend the Great Clips 300 Nascar race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Now how does this make an adventure? This is an adventure for me because I have never been to a car race. And from what I've been told, black people don't go to car races. For me to go ill be defying the stereotype. Its my adventure because Ive seen the Final Destination movies and i definitely understand what all can go wrong. Im risking my life to be there.
And how do you plan for a Nascar race? Well from what I have heard and from what i have seen on the television- the cars drive in around the track 195 times. So i WILL prepare to be bored. In order to attend this "abstract event" is to BUY THE TICKET!......THEN we (mainly I) will prepare for the boredom coming my way. Im bringing food, my phone, and my dearest IPOD.
Number 60, Carl Edwards, seems to be a nice driver. so i will be cheering for number 60. I will document my adventure with videos, pictures and brain stories.
